GrantBivens.com GrantBivens.com is my personal website and blog. Unfortunately, I do not blog very often any more as I mainly use Twitter to share things via the web. Some features of the website include a blogging platform, random quotes block, Twitter feed block and Last.fm block. Both the Twitter and Last.fm blocks dynamically pull in the latest tweets and songs I have listened to. This site was built with Joomla and has been functional since August of 2005.

CynthiaBivens.com CynthiaBivens.com is the personal blog of my wife, Cynthia Bivens. This site is built with Wordpress. It is a pretty basic Wordpress site with an full archive block, latest Tweet block and a links section. I also took the panoramic photo for the header image. Eventually this site will feature a "Food Blog" and photo gallery.

SweetInspirationsCakes.com SweetInspirationsCakes.com is a custom order wedding cake creator. The owner wanted to be able to display her cakes to showcase her skills as a cake maker. Instead of using a boring image gallery like most other cake websites, I incorporated lighbox technology which is also used here when you click on the image to the left. Using lightbox technology makes images "jump" out of the site.

OurJourneyMinistry.com OurJourneyMinistry.com is a website I setup pro bono for a group of women to promote their ministry. This website is maintained by the client. The site is built with Wordpress and features a blog, polls, contact form, event registration and payment section, newsletter subscription and blog archive section.

RGBHosting.com RGBHosting.com is the website you are viewing. This website was built using Joomla 1.5.x. There are many features including a hosting plan catalog, design portfolio, full-featured support system (support tickets, FAQs, and Knowledgebase), and a contact form.

Ron Sheppard This was a political website for Ron Sheppard who ran for the House District 28 seat. For this website we wanted to focus on getting viewers to the key content as quickly as possible. To do this we used a large horizontal menu with the four most important areas right up front. The use of blogging and video provides for 24/7 campaigning. This website also utilizes RSS feeds in relation with a third-party website (feedburner.com) to allow visitors to "sign up" for updates. When a new blog entry is posted it will automatically email all the subscribers with the new content.

Altius Consulting LLC Altius Consulting LLC was a website for a consultant who needed a website to more firmly establish his company. This site is very simple with a brief overview of what his company does, a short biography about himself, and a contact form. He also wanted to use a poll to help market himself towards the majority of visitors to his website.

Dental Website This website was created for a dental practice. Unfortunately this site was never taken live because the client decided not to promote their practice via the web.

Oklahoma State College Republicans Oklahoma State College Republicans was the previous official website for the Oklahoma State University College Republicans. During my time at OSU I was the Technology Director for OSU CR. Part of my duties included creating and maintaining the organizations website. All of the OSU CR Officers had access to blog or write articles and publish them directly to the website. The site also contained a photo gallery, an online schedule of events, full-featured newsletter with over 500 subscribers, and a monthly poll. This site is no longer in use and is for sale.
